Just on my way home from work

This morning early as I drove to work I thought to myself: "today you have to take the camera, maybe there is something nice to photograph". I had actually thought of beautiful autumn atmosphere pictures. But in the evening, as I left the office, it rained and there was no beautiful autumn atmosphere to think about. So I drove straight home. But when I left the highway a wonderful mood, just before sunset, has been offered to me.

I could not resist to make a quick stop and try to achieve a snapshot. Although the sky with the black rain clouds was very dark, close to the horizon there was this immense bright gap between the clouds. The sun has let himself be seen just at this moment. Although it was already a bit cool, the sun still had enough power on this autumn day to warm up a bit even in that short time.

Once again it was worth to have the camera with me and to be ready to capture a possible unique moment. And how was your day?
